Ah yes… I was supposedly headed to South America.
Somehow ended up in Oakland… I guess that’s what I get for not looking at a map. Ended up taking photos Mexico vs. Paraguay Soccer match. Then I ended up wandering the Bart for an hour, before i realized how to get back to the Hotel. Great… Now, I’m sitting here next to some Large body of water. Who knows what it is? Who knows where I am really? Doesn’t even matter to me anymore really..
Anyways.. I can’t litter the sanctity of Big Muff with all this blahblahblah. So I decided to keep a Travel Journal.
…another pointless website from me to you dear internet.

“It’s about Lava, rocks and earth. It’s about creation of the universe, from the big bang to the very early days of the planet. You can hear old archaic chants and screams in there (it’s actually me). Slowly, everything proceeds, everything is forming, but each passing second represents actually millions of years.”
Really great new artist named VENICE from Rome just dropped a 3 song EP on Red Bull Music Academy.. I really love this track. Great tribal drum sound with weird synths, swirls and gurgles. Can’t wait to hear more!
I wish I got to see the Zombies when they were touring. Easily one of my favorite songs.

Few people know that I love Dublab radio. One of the greatest music communitys I’ve ever seen. All radio stations should be like Dublab.A
Well it looks like Frosty and some folks from the station has put together a fine mix for the latest TED conference. Brainy-space music. Well done.
Get it here.![]()
Last Saturday night, I had to run sound for these guys. Thought this song Monk was brilliant. I’m realizing now that since the Drummer stands.. It’s extremely difficult for him to hear himself over his cymbals. Instead of cranking his vocals in the front monitor and getting intermittent feedback squeals. I should have used the drum monitor in front of the Bass player and pointed at his left ear..
Dammit.. Oh well.. I was very entertained. Really loved the keys..Very cool Beatle-y sound. Jon Brion would be the perfect producer for these guys.
I also really enjoyed The Soft White Sixties really good guys.. Octavio was a great frontman. Also the Whisperlights were really good (loved the violin)! Check em out and support some upcoming kids if you happen to be at SXSW.
Three days of hard work, and all I got was a lousy t-shirt..haha..
